Maybe it was why being horny almost got a lady killed, that got your attention. So if you were expecting a hot and tantalizing story about a horny lady I once knew – I am sorry to disappoint you.
I have been immobile these past few weeks, and yesterday, my back hurt so much that I decided to remain in my pajamas and vegetate in bed with my dog, Holly Golightly.
Well, maybe ‘vegetate’ is the wrong way of describing a lack of interest in doing anything.
It was more like an interest in amusing myself by watching Netflix but without an idea of how I wanted to be amused.
Should I choose a drama or something scary?
Or maybe some laughter with Dave Chappelle, who I believe is the funniest comedian on the planet – not to mention very wealthy.
Dave once gave up $50 million to continue his television series on the Comedy Channel and went into seclusion.
I don’t know Dave Chappelle personally, and my views are entirely speculative, but money isn’t everything unless you are poor, homeless, or hungry!
But to me and probably Dave, money is just a way of measuring success.
Once you have reached that level of notoriety and wealth, the paradigm becomes stale and boring.
And if you’re like me, boredom is challenging to overcome.
So, while I fumbled with the television’s remote, I came across a movie starring Russell Crowe.
The title was Unhinged, and it was a drama.
I don’t want to know what the critics say about a film—I want a brief story overview. Don’t give me too much information—I want to be on a journey.
So, as the film began, I only knew that it was about ‘road rage,’ and I assumed that Russell Crowe was the victim.
But I was wrong.
However, I can’t tell you more than what I have already revealed.
I was tempted to turn it off during the movie – I felt traumatized, for heaven’s sake!
I phoned my buddy Robert, a fellow actor.
Robert, I just watched a movie starring Russell Crowe on Netflix…
But before I could say the title, Robert interrupted me.
Unhinged? Yeah, I watched it yesterday. ~ Robert
We both agreed it was one of the most violent films we have ever watched!
Hey Danny! What about the horny woman? I thought your story was about her? ~ Spanky
No, Spanky, you’ll have to watch the movie to understand the title of my story. And unless you have steel nerves (rust on your underwear doesn’t qualify, Spanky), I would recommend against viewing this movie.
However, if you do, be sure to wear a couple of pairs of Depends diapers.
However, I liked Russell Crowe’s performance – he is a great actor.
Oh, and please leave a comment to let me know what you thought of the movie!
That’s all for today, kids!
Dedicated to scary movies.
I hope my stories are a gift to your head and heart.
Hugs,
Danny
Today’s tune from Danny’s library (purchased):
So everybody’s pulling you in all directions
You don’t know how much longer to take it
So you’ve learned how to fake it
That smile on the outside’s fading fast
Like the things that you thought for sure would last
But they didn’t
You know something’s missing
Is it your life you’re not living?
Your heart is cold, your soul is numb
You don’t like who you’ve become
You played the game and paid the cost for long enough
So grab the reins, take the wheel
Lose what’s not and keep what’s real
It’s not too late,
Just close your eyes and feel, feel
You can’t tell if you’re happy or sad
Can’t tell the good from bad
It’s senseless
To waste your senses
Maybe stop thinking with your head
Start using your heart instead
Just try it
You just might like it
Aren’t you dying to start livin’?
Your heart is cold, your soul is numb
You don’t like who you’ve become
You played the game and paid the cost for long enough
So grab the reins, take the wheel
Lose what’s not and keep what’s real
It’s not too late,
Just close your eyes and feel,
Every breath that’s going through you
Take each day that’s given to you
To love back the ones who love you
Your heart is cold, your soul is numb
You don’t like who you’ve become
You played the game and paid the cost for long enough
So grab the reins, take the wheel
Lose what’s not and keep what’s real
It’s not too late,
It’s not too late,
Just close your eyes and feel, feel
You can’t tell if you’re happy or sad
Can’t tell the good from the bad
Feel and stop thinking with your head
Start using your heart instead
Your heart is cold, your soul is numb
Yeah, yeah, yeah….
You’ve played the game for long enough, oh, no, no,
Everybody’s pulling you in all directions.
