Although my stories are not about politics or religion, I think it’s time to contradict myself because of the pathetic actions of the president of the USA and his administration; I must get this out of my head and heart.

Watching the network news (excluding Fox News, which I never watch) has become too complex and upsetting, making it difficult to find peace and happiness in our own lives.

We are entering a potentially catastrophic era for the American people and democracy. And I believe that most people on the planet agree with me.

I base my assumption on the ‘Vital Many vs. Trivial Few’ principle, which means that 80% of the population is reasonable and capable of understanding the difference between pepper and fly shit.

The trivial few are the remaining 20%, who don’t understand the difference.

Tomorrow (Saturday), there will be millions of people in thousands of locations throughout America to participate in the ‘No Kings’ protests against Donald J Trump, who himself has a military parade scheduled on the same day to honor his 79th birthday.

He has never supported the military or the armed forces in his command. Look at what he’s done to the Veterans Administration.

They are courageous, versus the Donald’s cowardice.

As a Canadian, I refuse to travel to or purchase products from the USA due to the tariffs and restrictions imposed by Donald Trump at the border.

I have many dear friends in the USA, and they are very concerned about the future.

When Mr. Trump was first elected in 2016, I participated in a women’s protest march in Bellingham on the day after his inauguration (January 21, 2017).

If you click on that link, you’ll be able to view a video and photos of that historic day. There were similar protests throughout America.

Although I cannot join the No Kings protest in the USA, I will be glued to the boob tube following the TV coverage.

However, if you are living in the States and are not part of the MAGA movement, you need to attend the protest in your village, town, or city.

If you’re worried about being recognized, conceal your face, just as the National Guard and other military personnel do.

I know you’ll feel immensely proud of being there with your friends and neighbors.

It’s the right thing to do.
