It does not take a genius to know that the silence is now deafening – regarding the number of children murdered in the USA these days.

The statistics are frightening because mass killings are the number one reason for children’s death last year and the year before!

And although some of my readers may object to this story being political – despite my pledge to never write about religion or politics – my pen cannot sit idle. At the same time, this madness continues in the United States.

What type of country allows this rampage to continue without taking immediate and effective measures to pass immediate legislation to ban the use of military-style weapons?

How can any citizen not care about children enough to continue voting these reptilian GOP members back in office?

Why do people support the NRA when most of the members are in favor of stricter gun control?

I have always loved our neighbor to the south of us, from here in Canada.

We share so many things in common.

But we have strict gun laws and do not have to worry about the mass shooting of our children and grandchildren.

And by the way – I do not know how it is possible for anyone to lock children up in cages – after separating them from their parents, as what was done during the Trump administration.

Make America Great Again – are you kidding me?

All American citizens are from families that immigrated to the USA – except the slaves brought in chains from Africa or the indigenous First Nation people, the first inhabitants.

The day after Trump’s inauguration, I joined a parade of protestors in Bellingham, Washington, to support women’s rights in the USA.

But I never dreamed that these same GOP politicians would ban a woman’s right to abortion – and in most cases – regardless if the mother’s health was in danger or because of rape or incest.

What type of human being is capable of such despicable behavior – not to mention those on the US Supreme Court who voted to overturn Roe vs. Wade legislation?

I have many friends in the USA, and know they are sickened by all of this – so I am not blaming anyone other than those who voted these GOP MAGA monsters into office.

So yes, the silence is deafening, and I am so upset I had to write about it, so I can get the burden off my chest.

That’s all – sorry if any of this offends you – but I am not sorry for expressing what’s in my heart and soul.

My adopted children, Ralph and Anita, have Aria, a beautiful young preschool daughter, who is the most adorable little child. I can’t imagine harm being done to little children like Aria.

It is impossible to imagine the suffering parents of the children suffering under any circumstances – much less when they are murdered in a mass shooting.

When I see the reports on television of the latest mass killing of children, the sky begins to cry.
